Western Australia lags behind most states in road trauma statistics and there does not appear to be an effective strategy to reduce this quickly.
At the Perth Injury and Trauma Research Institute (PITRI), we are involved in understanding the complexities of road trauma and developing effective strategies to prevent and mitigate its impact. Since our beginning PITRI has supported individual researchers and teams of collaborative researchers in WA who have been at the forefront of research, striving to make our roads safer for everyone.
